Unread Message Asterisk-2004

What happened to the blue asterisk that indicated a new unread message in
Entourage X? There is no such thing that I can see in Entourage 2004.
Sent using the Microsoft Entourage 2004 for Mac Test Drive.

Go to View: Columns and ensure that ³Message Status² is checkmarked.

Exactly - there aren't 17 or so column any more, only one. Use the default
bold or any color you want in Preferences/View to display unread messages.
It works fine. If you want a blue asterisk you'll have to switch back to the
older Preview Pane Below view.

That only works in 2 column view...not in the new 3 column view.
