Unread message count is wrong

Hi,

Although I emptied the Deleted Items (same with Inbox), the number of unread
messages remains set at 5 (was 3 a few weeks ago and 1 about a month ago).

I am referring to the count displayed next to the Large Icon on the Outlook
Shortcuts.

I am running Outlook 2002 on W2K-SP4 and hooked up to an Echg2K box running
on W2K-SP4 Server.

Any help is appreciated,
