Unwanted empty lines

Hi, is there a quick way of removing lines with no data that excel
thinks is populated i.e CTRL and END takes me to line 100 when there
is only 20 lines of data.

I am imported the sheet via a database field in Word and it brings in
all the lines. Have hundreds of sheets with the same problem which is
why I need a better method than select & deleting the extra "empty"
lines !... Thanks Bev.
