I had the auto update bring in and install the 11.1.0 update.
Now when accessing my mail, after selecting an email to delete, or move to a
subfolder, the program suddenly exits and sends a report with a text dump to
Microsoft (with my permission).
I have rebuilt the database without a positive result.
I have attempted to go back to an earlier version, 11.0 and launch from an
external firewire connected drive. It sees the current database, and
registers the correct version in the menu, but has the same unwelcome
quitting behavior.
I checked, and have only 1 Database Daemon running.
There is only one copy of Western language encodings in the Textencodings
folder.
I turned notifications off.
I have no hacks running, in fact I just got a fresh OS up and running on an
empty drive and I am in the process of restoring all of my original
materials.
This version of entourage and database were running on an external backup as
a startup drive prior to my attempting to put it back on the target
computer. This is crashing as a non-boot drive attached to this machine in
the same way with version 11.0
I was able to download and complete this help request without the program
exiting, so it has something to do with the mail database in particular, not
the whole program.
Ok what am I missing. I can't run this program for more than 29 seconds
touching email deliveries!
