Does anyone know if Microsoft is planning any updates to Entourage 2004

Hi,

v.11.1.0 (0400913) to deal with Tiger?

MS announced a while back that they were working on an update for
Entourage. What Tiger-specific problem are you talking about though ??
On my Mac, Entourage works pretty much the same in Tiger that it did in
Panther...

They have already announced there will be an SP2 update later in the year.

Open System Preferences, and then open Spotlight preferences. Open the
Privacy section, and then add the "Microsoft User Data" folder to the list.
See if that helps.

I'd suggest that everyone add at least the

Microsoft User Data:Office 200x identities:

folder to the Privacy tab. Letting Spotlight try to index the Entourage
just wastes processor cycles.

Since the MUD folder can contain items you may want to index, at least
by filename, such as Scripts and Saved Attachments, you may want to
restrict the Privacy setting to the Identities folder(s).

I use the MUD folder to hold all my add-ins and templates, as well as my
Office Projects files generated by the Project Manager, so I want the
MUD folder itself looked at.

I agree - that's what I do too.
