Update Version of MS Office 2003 (pro/SBE) standalone-installable?

Hello,

can I install the Microsoft Office 2003 *Update* (don't know which one to
buy yet: pro or SBE) standalone on a PC, without having my Microsoft Office
2000 version previously installed? That is, will the Office 2000 key just be
requested during installation of the 2003 version, or do I have to install
Office 2000 first?

You will need to "show" the Office 2003 installation routine the CD for the
previously qualifying product - it is not necessary to have it installed,
just put in the CD when asked for the qualifying product, and take it out
once it is verified.
