Updated 2008 to 12.0.1 No Issues

I know people like to post issues but the Office2008-1201UpdateEN.dmg
downloaded from Microsoft install without a glitch and everything,
including the new mail sound, seems to work great.

Since the Microsoft AutoUpdate (MAU) did not do the install, the 12.0.1
update is not displayed when I click on MAU Installed Updaters.

Anyone know how to create a log file that will display the 12.0.1 update
in the MAU?
