Updated a recordset

Hello,

I have a table with 10 fields, 3 of which are often
reproduced for many of the next 7 fields

Id like to take a distinct query of the first 3 fields
and be able to edit it so that I can chaange for example
the value of field 1 for ALL entries in the table that
have the 3 values i queried. Is this possible? Thanks
