I've seen Sonia's list
(http://www.soniacoleman.com/Tutorials/PowerPoint/multimedia.htm), but
it looks a bit outdated (e.g. it doesn't mention the .wmv file format).
I've converted most of of my stuff to .avi with the Cinepak codec (when
I had a choice, b/c I heard the Cinepak code was 'high compatibility'),
but wondering if I should convert all of my .wmv files to .avi.
I'll be distributing CDROM's, probably using the 'Package for CD...'
option. I'm on Win XP Home, SP 2 with PowerPoint 2003. I'm looking
for compatibility first, quality second.
What prompted this question, other than general curiosity, is that my
..wmv to .avi conversions weren't going too well. File sizes increased
by a factor of 4 and quality went down noticeably.
Thanks much!
