Updated w/ Entourage update 11.4.0 now emails take hours to send

I have auto updates on my computer and on 2/12 or 2/13 Entourage 11.4.0 updated. Since then three of us in the office who all have this are having difficulties sending emails. Our emails show being sent immediately but don't actually arrive for 5-6 hours or sometimes even 24 hours. This occurs even if we blind copy ourselves as a test.

Can you please provide information about your setup? Are you using POP,
IMAP or Exchange?

Can you log in to a webmail interface to see if your messages appear there?

Hi, I don't know a lot about this stuff butI'll try. Apparently I am using POP setup with a paid yahoo email account and address. I can go directly into Yahoo via my browser and see my messages and respond there and they appear immediately (or close to it). But anything through entourage takes hours or even a day to appear. I have fixed the problem with receiving emails and they are now coming through OK, but still can't send directly from Entourage.

It's not Entourage, it's the server or your ISP's server.

Do you have the SMTP set up as your ISPs or Yahoo's. This could be a delay
if you use the relay SMTP.

Outgoing mail server : (what ever your ISP uses for outgoing mail- yahoo
wanted us to use theirs which we never could get to work) no advanced
settings for outgoing server.

I've been having the exact same problems with delays on many, many hours.
Mine is being sent via Entourage with Yahoo set as both the POP and SMPT
servers. Any ideas of what could be causing these? I hadn't backtracked
and realized that it started happening about the same time as the update.

Should the above tip be updated
Incoming Mail (POP3) Server: pop.mail.yahoo.com

to show pop.att.yahooo.com?

i just finished setting up my mail accounts again and I used
att.yahoo.com for pop and smtp
