Updates & Hotmail

i'm not aware of anything recent, but there have been problems. do you have more than one hotmail or msn account? Did you try removing and recreating the account?

the error code usually means the tcp/ip failed to connect to the server. it could be a firewall either on your computer, on your isp, or something goofy at hotmail.

Have any of the updates in the last three months caused trouble with Hotmail? When I try to access Hotmail through OE, I get the following error message:

Configuration:
Account: [My Name]
Server: http://services.msn.com/svcs/hotmail/httpmail.asp
User name: [My address]
Protocol: HTTPMail
Port: 0
Secure(SSL): 0
Code: 800ccc0e
