Upgrading emails from Entourage 2004 to 2008

I upgraded to Microsoft Office 2008 recently. When I open up Entourage 2008, none of my old emails are there which I NEED!

How do I connect them with 2008? Where do I find them? help!

Your data is probably safe. In Entourage 2008 select Entourage -->
Switch Identity... and see if you can reselect your old identity.

Your data is stored in the Microsoft User Data folder. (~ stands for YOUR
USERS folder)

~/Documents/Microsoft User Data

Each version will create it's own Identities folder. Example for Entourage
2008

~/Documents/Microsoft User Data/Office 2008 Identities

By default your Identity is named "Main."

You old mail is in your Office xxxx Identities folder. When you open
Entourage 2008 for the first time you have the option to import from an
older version. Entourage 2008 will upgrade your older Identity to the new
Entourage 2008 format. This is a lengthy process.

Some users have had trouble importing and have had to resort to manually
moving over their data. If you import fails, and you still have the older
version installed, you can manually move your data.
