Upgrading Outlook 2000 to 2002

The notebook I use was provided to me by my employer and
came w/Outlook 2000. The company is networked. I operate
off site and I am concerned of any negative ramifications
if I upgrade to Outlook 2002 (as recommended to optimize
productivity with my new HP iPAQ PDA). Do I have anything
to worry about?

I can think of a couple right off the bat, but they may not affect you
in your particular situation:

1) Net Folders are not supported in Outlook 2002.
2) If you upgrade only Outlook to version 2002 and you still use older
versions of other Office programs, especially Word, you will lose the
integration between them, such as the ability to use Word as your e-mail
editor.

You might want to check out the following page for a more in-depth look
at Outlook 2002 and lists of (or links to lists of) new features,
missing features from previous versions, etc.
