URGENT - Format Number Column

James G

Hi Guys/Gals,

In MSP 2000, I seem to be able to input a value, in a number column, to a
maximum of two decimal places. I cannot seem to find any options to increase
this to more than two. Is this correct?

Thanks for your soonest response.

James,

I can't find a way to get more than two decimals using a numbers field. You
can show more in a text field. Now I am curious to see if there is a way to
change the default decimal setting.

Darrell,

Thanks for your help. I was also looking for a number of other options to
attempt to use more than two DPs, as yet unsuccessfully. I appreciate that,
in a text column, you can type-in whatever you want, but I need to perform
numerical manipulation, so it has to be recognised as a number.

Cheers.

James.

Maybe import at text with as many decimals as you want, use VB's
functions to convert from text to number?

Maybe if you describe exactly what you're trying to do that requires 4
decimal places, someone could help figure out another way?
