URGENT: Hightlight value below a value

Hi,

After some advice please..

I have a set amount of hours... eg; 3:40

then a list of times over the past few days;

3:50
3:35
3:45
3:45
4:00

I want the writing in any of these cells that are below 3:40 to be i
red text.

How do i do this? and will it calculate that there is only 60 mins t
an hour and so not come up with things like 3:60 or 3:70.


Help would be much appreciated

Mark,
Suppose A1 is where amount of hours is located at, and B1:B5 is the list of
times.
What you have to do is;

Select B1, go to "Format" and then "Conditional Formatting".
Then select:
"Cell Value is"
"Less then"
"=$A$1"

Think this is what you need.
