USB Camera sound

HI

I have a usb camera connected to my windows xp machine. I have set it
up as the sound source in control panel and tested it and it works ok.
when I try to do a broadcast in powerpoint powerpoint cannot hear any
sound.

How do I tell Powrpoint to use the USB Camera microphone

You will have to set it up as the default input for sound recorder via the
Control Panel. (Sounds and Audio Devices)

Hi Austin

I have just read your reply to my posting regarding USB cam in
PowerPoint broadcasts.

Hi have set both sound recording and voice recording to PC CAM 300A.

If I run sound recorder I can record from the USB Camera Microphone.

I Presume in Windows XP Multimedia in control panel is Sounds,Speech
and audio devices.

We are running windows XP with service pack 1

Users have restricted rights but I have tried the above with admin
rights and there is no difference.
