use contacts [on exchange server] as default

I am running entourage 2004 11.2.5 on a MBP with tiger. I would like to
have the address book called 'contacts [on exchange server] as my
default address book rather than the 'address book [on my computer]'.
For example when i click on a person who sent me a mail and choose 'add
to address book', i would like it to go to the address book which is
replicated on the server rather than my local copy.

thanks.

Easy :) in Tools:accounts, choose your Exchange account as the default
one.

Unfortunately, for those of using Entourage to access both Exchange and
POP accounts, this isn't quite true. The "Add to Address Book" command
will add contacts to the Exchange address book only if the e-mail was
received by the Exchange account. If it was received by the POP account,
the command defaults to the "On My Computer" address book, even if the
Exchange account is your default account.

I detailed my clunky workaround in another thread: How to change default
of "Add to Address Book" command.

You're right, no matter what account is set as default, the add to
address book adds to the address book corresponding ot the account
(local for POP or IMAP and Exchange for Exchange.
