Our organization is uses Outlook 2000 as the default mail client on our
Win2K and WinXP computers. However, when we click a 'mailto' URL or try
to 'Send Page' from within Netscape (versions 6.2 and 7), Netscape Mail
is opened. We would like an Outlook mail message to be opened.
I have found a MS knowledgebase article referring to Netscape
knowledgebase article for Netscape 4 that describes 4 entries that need
to be added to the 'prefs.js' Netscape configuration file. These
entries do not seem to work in that they reference POP and SMTP
servernames, which we don't use. We are using Exchange Servers with
Outlook on the frontend.
Has anyone come across a solution to this problem?
Thanks,
Jim
