Use what version of Office 2003?

Just bought a new HP Computer--it came with MS Office Standard Edition on it.
I have my own (Student/Teacher Edition 2003). Should I use the one that
came on the computer or delete and install my own?

That's a trial version. Uninstall it, restart your system, install your own
version.
