Why can't MS create a user definable setting which would allow people to
define a flashing save icon (by colour red/yellow etc) for all the office
software linked to a definable time setting that kicks in say every 10
minutes, or every 20 mins, depending on the importance of the text being
input. Short times for outlook messages perhaps.
It might help to reduce the terrible groans when someone realises they've
closed a document etc without saving!
