using 'crossover' to run outlook 2003 on intel macs

greetings - i was wondering if anyone has used crossover ( a new
windows-on-mac enabler that is still in beta mode) to run outlook 2003
on a mac. i will be trying to install it later today but thought it
may be prudent to check other people's experience on this. i find
outlook to be a much better email and communications tool including
its layout and support.

background - i have been using entourage for a while to connect to my
company's exchange server and have been unimpressed with the only
partial support so i have reverted to using a mac and a windows
machine concurrently but would like to consolidate all onto the mac
platform (since its much much better than anything MS will ever come
up with in the foreseeable future). MS's only products of value are
the office suite that they use to chain most of their customers to
windows IMO.

I haven't personally used CrossOver Mac <http://www.codeweavers.com> to
run Outlook but it does run other Windows apps very well. If you refer
to this page on their website
<http://www.codeweavers.com/compatibility/browse/name/?letter=o> Outlook
2003 seems to work but have some issues. Unfortunately, the site doesn't
specify the problems nor the positives.

I've installed CrossOver (beta) and Outlook 2003. It works okay. I
will go to it every once in awhile, but I wouldn't live in it. I ran
across a couple of glitches, although I can't recall what they were to
describe here. If Entourage didn't do it for me, I'd rather live in
Outlook within Parallels. But Crossover is cheaper, so it's okay for
what it is.
