Using Document_Open in individual documents

I've written a document open macro that I wish to add to each document and
not the associated templates. At home, this works great, but at work, the
templates seem to block the document's event macro from firing.

Any idea what could be causing this? One of the templates is based on
Information Mapping and has a AutoOpen macro in the module section. Is this
what is interferring with the document's event macro?

Thanks,

Michael

Procedures in the document should trump those in templates, including the
attached template. However, if you have macro security set to high and have
checked the box to trust installed templates and add-ins, you will get the
result you are reporting. Word will disable macros in an unsigned document
without warning or other prompt.

Thank you for your response but I found out what was my problem. I was
opening the documents from within a web based indexing system thus I was
getting the IE & Word error where the macros would not fire when opened from
IE.

Once again,

Thanks.
