Using Entourage for newsgroups

When I used Outlook Express for reading newsgroups I was able to kill file
posters I did not want to read. If there is a way to do this in Entourage,
I haven't been able to find it. Does anyone know if it's possible.

Create a Rule to identify posters you want to killfile. Set a category:
killfile, give it a color to identify easily. Set it to mark message as
read.

You can't delete messages from the newsgroup.

Personally, I just add them to my Address Book and set the killfile category
to them. Luckily, this has rarely happened on this list.

I create a rule in the News section which has the criterion being the
senders email address I am wishing to screen out and then have the action
being "Do Not Show Article". Then any articles from that sender will not
show in the list of Newsgroup subject headers.

I also keep a list of profanity type words being contained in the subject
headers with the same action to not view those types of postings as well.
This problem is the bigger one I think and it deals with it nicely.

I believe such a rule will only act on any new Newsgroup postings received
and will not act on any current ones already there.
