Using Outlook to access Lotus Notes Emails

Hi There,

A quick question, is it possible to use Outlook to access mail from a Lotus Notes 5 Server?
If so, was there anything special you needed to do or just filling in the correct port and imap settings was good enough?

Just start Outlook and go to Options to add a new service,
coose Lotus notes, enter your notes password, click
through it, and then hit OK to launch. Enter Notes
Password again and you are in. I have found I need to set
up a new profile every time (only takes a few seconds
though) and I just name the profile the date. You should
not need the POP and SMTP info - if you do then you are
using a internet settings.....good luck
