Just go to...File / Page Setup / Custom...

Enter your size / OK.

John,

Shouldn't that be

File
Print setup
then select the paper size

or is this particular to Publisher 2000?

The question was about creating
the blank canvas for the project...
not about printing.

Ok...now I get it...JoAnn has the best idea of going to...
File / Page Setup / Printer and Paper tab / Legal...

That sets up both the project size and print size.

Yep. Pub 2000 sets it up a wee bit differently than later versions. I think
2007 is the easiest, assuming you aren't talking about an existing document.
If you are, then I need to see how it's done and then make my decision. :)

8½ x 14 is Legal, although it could be called Custom. :)

A rose by any other name would smell as sweet.

Thanks for the guidance...usually I just open the
program and whatever works is what I post.
