Using Rules to Set Color of Background

P

PETER Lam

I like Apple Mail¹s Rules to set the background color of my correspondents
according to my colleagues, boss, or mailing list etc. It is very easy to
look at who sent me what from the mailbox.

Is it possible to perform this action using Entourage¹s Rules without
assigning Categories and putting different colors to each category?

There are two problems using categories to perform the action...
1. I have too many categories already, which are also shared among
calendars, tasks and notes
2. I sync categories to Palm which limits the number of categories to 15.

Thanks, -- Peter

By colouring the backgrounds, I assume that you mean the text of the message
list in the folder views?

There is no other way to colour these apart from categories.
