I've setup the Office Outlook Connector for IBM Lotus Domino (v 2.0.4007.0)
on a system running XP Pro SP1 and Notes 6.5 client
would anyone know how to disable forwarding of .dat files in plain text
format ?
to explain that a bit:
new email arrives from a domino notes server
outlook 2003 intercepts the message and fires a rule to auto-forward it (if
rule matches)
in outlook 2003 I've defined all messages to go out in plain text format and
notes mail arrives in rich text format which gets automatically converted to
plain text
any auto-forwarding done by outlook 2003 with multiple messages in a notes
discussion
become converted to a .Dat attachement while the messages themselves convert
nicely
to just plain text
the result is a normal message but with it arrives a useless 100kb .dat file
which just eats
up bandwith and space on the receiving system
