Using video in a presentation

Hi,

I have incorperated an .avi movie from a Canon IXUS v2 digital into
presentation. However, despite the fact that it works in media playe
and quicktime i get a 'video not available, cannot find vids:mjp
decompressor' message.

Can anyone offer me some advice?
