I'm developing several types of education from Word documents and converting
them into HTML. More and more I am finding that the conversion from a Word
document to an HTML document inserts certain errors in the HTML code.
Normally these are minimal, but to ensure that my web pages are accessible, I
have to remove all of my nested tag errors.
Does anyone know of a good way to clean up Word documents before conversion
to HTML to avoid the nested tag issue?
When the Word documents are converted to HTML by RoboHelp or Knowledge
Producer, the errors become apparent. I can't see them in the Word doc, but
once they are in HTML I can see them. Would love to be able to check for
nested codes and fix the issues before I let the other programs do their
conversion to HTML.
