#Value! Error correction??

Can someone look at this formula and tell me what's wrong?

=((Results!C8-Results!C5-Results!C9)*24*60)-IF(BF11=0," ",BF11)

Thanks

Hi,

If BF11 is 0, your if function will return a space. Then the formula
becomes ((Results!C8-Results!C5-Results!C9)*24*60) - "space" which
doesnt have a value.

Modify your if condition.

Govind.

Since there'd be neither harm done from nor any point to subtractin
BF11 from the preceding expression when BF11's zero, I'd guess yo
meant something like

=IF(BF11>0,(Results!C8-Results!C5-Results!C9)*24*60-BF11,"")

If this still gives #VALUE! when BF11 contains a positive number, d
the other cells, Results!C8, Results!C5 and Results!C9 contain numbers
If not, you may need something like

=IF(AND(N(Results!C8)>0,N(Results!C5)>0,N(Results!C9)>0,N(BF11)>0),
(Results!C8-Results!C5-Results!C9)*24*60-BF11,""
