I would like to move an object in a slide along a custom path. My experince
of doing this in Access is that the screen does not refresh while going
through the loop, so all I see in the object moving from the start position
and simply appearing at the end position.

Does anyone have any example code if they have tried this, or does anyone
know the command to force a screen refresh that is somehow in sync with the
VDU refresh (to avoid flashing/blur).

Many thanks for any help anyone can give.

Winger,
Depends on the version of PowerPoint. PowerPoint 2002 or later supports
motion paths natively. Any other solution will involve screen refresh during
each stage which will cause possible flashing. Try:

Sub RefreshSlide()
Dim lSlideIndex As Long
lSlideIndex = SlideShowWindows(1).View.CurrentShowPosition
SlideShowWindows
