VBA Codes

I am trying to develop a test with PowerPoint. I have my answer boxes hidden
under a chart. If the student clicks on the appropriate button on the chart,
they should get a popup that says good job. Unfortunately, PowerPoint wants
to advance the slide anywhere I click on the screen. Any ideas?

The presentation needs to be set up to run as a KIOSK ("Slide Show", "Set up
show"). You will, however, need to provide navigation buttons to move to
the next slide when ready since a simple mouse click on the slide itself has
now been disabled.

First, you might want to turn on kiosk mode. This will prevent errant
clicks from taking you to the next slide. Next, you want to make sure
that your buttons are on top, and they are linked properly to your VBA
code. Be sure that the buttons themselves and not the text in the buttons
are linked.

You can check out examples of quizzes that do similar things to what you
want on my site at:

Thank you Mr. Foley. That was a big help. If you can answer on more question
I promise to leave you alone. I want my students to test on PowerPoint. The
test will probably be a true/false or multiple choice. Is there anyway
PowerPoint can be programmed to tally the number of right or wrong or
possibly assign a score to a test. Thank you in advance

I have a couple of examples of Quizzes/CBTs on the following site:

http://www.pttinc.com/cbt_development.html

If you want to learn how to code the part of keeping score, I have some info
at:

http://www.pttinc.com/ppt_faq1.html

Basically you have to have variables assigned to each question and have it
tally up which ones were wrong and/or right. Another macro will calculate
the score based on those two variables. If you want to learn more about
using PowerPoint for computer based training, feel free to contact me
off-line.
