VBA to turn off update of links

I received a PPT from a supplier that contains several dozen charts linked
to external Excel charts. Can I write a bit of VBA code that will cycle
through all of the links and change that property?

I have some limited VBA for Excel experience but don't know what commands or
objects to use in PPT.

Any help with code snippets would be appreciated.
