I downloaded the Vcard Converter to see if I could export my Mac
Entourage 2004 contacts to a format that could be imported to Outlook
2003 on my wife's XP Pro laptop.

I must be doing something wrong on step 1 bellow because there on no
contacts when I go to step 3.

Has anyone had success with this utility?

Version 1.2 - Fixed Bug involving those funky characters with the little
marks over them
VCardConverter is actually a program to convert .rge contacts into a
standard outlook .csv file. A rge is a Microsoft Entourage archive file.
I use it to export my contacts from Entourage into gmail, but im sure it
has many other uses.
1) Export your contacts from Entourage (Tested on Entourage 2004) using
File>Export...
All you need to include in the archive is Contacts.
2) Open VcardConverter and Open the rge using File > Open
3) Edit or delete any contacts you in the csv file.
4) Select File>Save as.. , and save your .csv file wherever you want.

Yes. I just imported the vCards to Outlook 2002 (and Outlook Express 6).
No converter needed at all. With the address book open: Contacts menu ->
Forward as vCards. Send them as attachments in e-a mail to your wife.
