verify and or authenticate

Hello

I installed entourage 2004 on one of our apples, updated the software and
tried to use it. I want to use it in combination with exchange 2003 standard.
on the server side IMAP is enabled. when trying to acces the server evrything
seems to be ok except that the server answers with: username and/or password
could not be verified.
when accessing the domain with the same credentials to get data from a share
or something no verification problems occur.

I do not know how to go from here. Can someone help.

It could be a Keychain issue. Youcan launch Keychain Access and use the
First Aid command to repair your keychain.
If this still doesn't work, you can delete the entry corresponding to
this mail account and let Entourage re-create a fresh new one.
