Very basic question

Casey

I am working on a large PP project involving the playing of over 100 video
clips in the presentaion. I am considering upgrading from Office 2000 to
Office 2003. I just to be sure that I will have no trouble converting my PP
2000 project to 2003. Are there enough improvements in 2003 to justify the
switch?
I am pleased with 2000 and don't need the risk of any compatability
problems...I have spent over 100 hours on the project.
Thanks
Casey

Hi Casey,

If this project is the only need you have for PowerPoint and it is currently
working well for you, than I would leave well enough alone.

Yes, 2003 has a lot more to offer than 2000. There are many new animation
tools and some very useful goodies. In theory, you should be able to
upgrade from 2000 to 2003, apply the current SP's, and be good to go with
your 100 video presentation, but .... If you choose this route, keep a
block of time open to chase down gremlins.

Oh, by the way, just out of curiosity, are these all short clips, or a
library of flicks, or a marathon of cinematography?
