Very useful to be able to copy & paste text in error dialogue box

When an error message displays a user is only provided with the option to
close the error message dialogue box. The user may wish to copy the text in
the dialogue box & paste it into a help desk request or e-mail - the only way
I can see to achieve this is to screen print the whole screen - anyone know
of another way - Could Microsoft not provide the ability to copy & paste the
text within an error dialogue box

You can't copy and paste text from a dialog box because the dialog box is
not a text box. The next best thing is:

"Alt" + "Print Scrn" copies the active dialog box, which you can then paste
into MS Paint or any number of applications that accept pasting of graphics.

Get a copy of SnagIt. It's very inexpensive and with it you can copy
any text from anywhere. It's very useful and yes, it will allow you to
easily copy the text right out of an error message dialog box.
