Hi,

with Office 2007 it is possible
a) to block resources, so I could block a conference room by inviting it as a resource

b) view other peoples calender

I haven't found these functions in Entourage 2008, so I still cannot decide for this software ...

Entourage does not support direct booking of resources but it does
support including resource mailboxes as part of an invitation. So long
as you have the Auto Accept Attendant running on your Exchange Server
then you will receive confirmation that the resource has been booked.

Look under File --> Open Other User's Folder...
