View Public Address Book

Hi, is it possible to add public adressbooks links permanently to the
entourage adress book selection menu? The only thing i've see there is my
local adress book and the choice to browse to another adress book folder.

I'm not sure what you mean by public address book. If it's an LDAP
server, all you need is to add it in your Directory Services settings in
the Accounts in Entourage.

If you drag the public address book to your Exchange Favorites folder, then
it will show up in the list of address books.

If you drag the public address book to your Exchange Favorites folder, then
it will show up in the list of address books.

In Entourage you can also do that by right-clicking (control-clicking) the
public folder in question (address book) within Mail view/Exchange
account/Public Folders, and selecting Add to Favorites. It does work by
dragging to "Favorites folder" here too, true enough.

Thanks all for the reply, i know the way using the favorites. But i like to
have these public address books selectable in the drop-down menu from the
address dialog box that appears when i start to enter a email recipient in
entourage (2004). At the moment i can only select my local and exchange
contact folder there and browse for another one. But i like to add the
public address books to these list. Is this possible?
