Viewing contents of two mailboxes at once

Is it possible to have two or more mailboxes open at the same time in
Entourage 2004? I¹m cleaning up a sizeable Inbox and would like to be able
to compare contents to verify if copies of the emails have already been
moved (I¹m working from home, but home and office are both connected to the
Entourage server). Clicking on one then the other is tedious and
time-consuming (leaving aside for now the cumbersome transfer procedure).

Many thanks.

If you want to view all of your mail from several accounts in one Inbox, you
can create a new Custom View that will show you all your inboxes in one
view.

What I wish to do is to have open two mailboxes from the same account, for
example, ³Inbox² and ³Reports². That way I can compare contents to avoid
duplication and make maintenance easier.

Thanks.

You can open two Mail windows. You can select the folders you want in each
window.

To get rid of duplicates use one of the scripts to remove duplicates.

Remove Duplicate Messages Author: Jolly Roger

This script uses a thorough method of examining message
headers that guarantees it won't mistakenly mark two messages that
happen to have the same subject as duplicates.

This script takes a lot more time than the other scripts. I've used them all
with no problems.
