Viewing hypertext in received messages

Hypertext embedded in e-mail messages we receive does not display as a
link and doesn't "jump" to the site it is linked to. It only displays
as regular text. Is there anything we can turn on or off to make the
hypertext display correctly? Thanks.

With standard HTML or plain text messages, hyperlinks are not clickable
unless they are in this format:
http://www.mactopia.com

The "http://" prefix is essential, otherwise the link is not clickable.

With complex HTML messages, if the hyperlink address is displayed as text
but doesn't have an associated <A> tag, Entourage won't display it as a
link, but that would be a very rare situation.

As a workaround, Command-clicking URLs that do not appear clickable should
open them in your default browser.
