Viewing Junk Mail Filters

Eric Kwang

Hello,

Does anybody know if there is a way to view the junk mail filters that
already come pre-programmed into Outlook 2003?

I'm trying to re-create them as rules for handling mail in Entourage X for
Mac OS X. Thanks!

Eric

A spamfilter isn't as simple as some mail rules. It calculates the
possibility of spam on very specific properties.

I am using Outlook 2002. In Outlook 2002, you click on "Tools" which is in the menu bar at the top of the screen and then scroll down to "organize" and click on that. A drop down menu will appear and then you should click on the link that says "junk mail filter" which is on the left side of the drop down menu. Then click on the link on the right side of the drop down menu that says "more options". This comes after the advisory message that says junk and adult mail filters are not 100% accurate. A new drop down menu screen will appear with a link that says "edit junk mail filters". Click on the link that says "edit junk mail filters" and a popup dialogue box will appear with your junk mail filter list.

Not sure if Outlook 2002 is that much different than Outlook 2003.
