Viewing multiple image attachments in Outlook 2003

Hello,

Using Outlook 2003, when I open an email with multiple jpeg
attachments and click on the first image to view it with my default
viewer - Windows Picture and Fax Viewer (WPAFV), the image is
displayed. When I click on the either the Previous or Next Image
button, nothing happens.

While WPAFV had its peculiarities with Outlook 2000, I was generally
was able to view all images using the Next Image button.

On a slightly related matter, why does WPAFV sometimes display images
that were previously opened in another email. These "rogue" images
appeared to be cached somehow.

Due to the first problem, I have not witnessed the second problem
within OL2003 - so I can't complain too much.

Can anyone offer any suggestions?

I'm not sure why the behavior changed for you - it's always worked this way
for me.

Attachment are saved to the securetemp folder and if you don't close the
attachment before viewing another message, the attachment remains.

Thanks Diane.

I only had one email message open when I got this peculiar behaviour.

Tried to do the same on a laptop. Had to configure WPAFV as default
viewer and then opened email. Next Image button didn't work.
