Virus Alert Messages from Microsoft

Lately, all I have seen in my mailbox is the same fake Microsoft
Security patch update. I get about 70 of these things a day. Is
there a reason why I would get so many of these virus infected emails.
I have virus scan running and it checks for updates every 8 hours.
But I wonder if someone who has me in their address book is doing
this, or is it just if you are running Outlook 2003. Just checking,
because it seems to have become more common ever since I installed the
public beta of Outlook 2003. I know that I got about 10 a day with
Outlook 2002, but not as many as I do now. I have to check my email
two or three times a day just to make sure that my mailbox does not
get filled up to capacity. I have also run several virus scans with
my installed virus scanner and with Stinger from McAfee. All clean.
Any comments would be appreciated.

Yes, I get about 150 a day. You might look at the headers of the messages to
see if you can find any consistantly present phrase. I found 'rfc822;'
followed by my email address in all the messages. (go to view, options to
see the headers) I used the rule wizard in Outlook to unconditionally
delete the messages. This worked for me.
