Viruses from "Microsoft"

I've been getting a lot of viruses from senders claiming to be from
Microsoft. To illustrate, in less than 24 hours I've received spam (most
with viruses) from the following domains:

advisor.ms.com
bulletin_msn.net
confidence.microsoft.com
confidence.microsoft.net
confidence.ms.com
confidence_msn.com
msn.com
news.msn.com
news.msn.net
newsletters.microsoft.com
newsletters.msdn.com
newsletters_msdn.com
omzgpo_micorosoft.com
support.microsoft.com
support.microsoft.net
support.ms.com
support.msn.com
updates.msn.com

How do I block this stuff using Outlook 2003?

Charley, first make sure you have the junk mail filter set to high. To do
that go to Actions...Junk E-Mail ... Junk E-mail Options, then on the
Options tab make sure High is selected. That has been sending most of those
messages to the junk mail folder for me. From there you can review the Junk
Mail folder for any legitimate e-mails that were falsly identified and the
empty the folder. I would be reluctant to add the offending spoofed
addresses to the blocked senders as you could block some legitimate e-mail
from Microsoft, if you get any.

Hope that helps.

John,

Yes, my filter is set to high. That's the default, I think.

I've added *all* the spoofed addresses to my blocked senders list. None of
them use the only legitimate Microsoft domain name that I know of.
