Can someone tell me if I can take data from an excel sheet & use it to create
a block diagram? if so, where can I get an example?

the orgchart wizard in v2003 might be applicable, there was also a flowchart
wizard in v2002 which was discontinued....
the sdk has some examples of how you might approach the issue...
al
