VLOOKUP Or HLOOKUP or any other?

Spreadsheet 1 has all part#'s
Spreadsheet 2 partial part #'s with cost Y
Spreadheet 3 partial part #'s with cost Y

I want to search on spreadsheet 2 & 3 and return cost Y to spreadsheet 1 where it matches the part#.
