Can anyone tell why vlook can find a part number with 7-777-01 but cannot
find a part number 89123876 when both are used in the same speadsheet?

Because VLOOKUP frequently get confused by numbers ... it doesn't know
whether to look for a number or a string.

Perhaps the part number is actually entered as text and is being looked
up as though it were a number.
