Voice recording

The quality of the voice recording on a presentation is very poor. What type of microphone is necessary to improve the quality or is that not the problem?

Any good shielded microphone works well. Make sure you do your recording outside
of PowerPoint using dedicated software. I personally use the stuff that came
with my SoundBlaster card
