You could mark them as not to be proofed (Tools > Language > Set Language >
Do not check spelling), but would have to do that in each doc. Much easier to
add these to the custom dic, and they'll be acceptable in all docs.

Usually it's better to state the question in the body of
the message...
No, the custom dictionary cannot be persuaded to pick up
terms containing spaces, only single words.
